My name is Jennifer, I am 52, a mom of 3 grown children ages 34, 32, and 22 and I have 4 precious grandchildren ages 8, 6, 3, and 1. They really are the loves of my life!

I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX with my mom, step-dad and 2 younger brothers and visiting my dad every other weekend. I grew up in church, was saved at 6 years old and received my prayer language at the age of 12. I attended private Christian school from kinder to 7th grade, was very involved in my church youth group. But from the age of 15 to 48 I lived in the world; having no idea what on earth I was here for. What in the world was the purpose of my life. It wasn’t until July of 2022 that I really understood the importance of surrender. What did that look like? I had no idea, but honestly it didn’t matter, the Lord was tackling me down one way or another.

I found Him at my lowest, like REALLY found Him. Coming out of a 9-year addiction, it was ONLY HIM that could restore me. Since that July, I have been diligently seeking Him, sitting at His feet and allowing Him to wreck me over and over again.

I now, get to share it because I can’t keep it all to myself!! 🔥

I’m Not From Here Ministries is a Holy Spirit led ministry that is designed to flow in harmony with the One who created us, the One who desires our worship.

The heart posture we have when we enter into worship with our King, is extremely important. We have to remember that it’s not about a formal ceremony or a performance, it’s about releasing incense with our praise for our audience of ONE. The Lord is sitting on the throne waiting for our performance for HIM only. In II Samuel 6:21 & 22 David states that he will dance and play music before the Lord and that he will be even more undignified than this and will be humble in my own sight.

So, DO IT, dance like David! Be even more undignified! Wave your worship flags, lay prostrate on the floor and suck that carpet! Sing your heart out to our Heavenly Father, He desires it!

This is what the Father asks of us:

Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Psalm 141:2

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23-24

First of all, I’d like to mention, I am not a professional nor do I claim to be in the art of flag worship. It is a burning desire in my heart to worship my Heavenly Father by the waving of flags. When I enter into flag worship, I ask the Holy Spirit what color He would like to see me use, and He answers with a color, and really, He chooses the song as well. It’s ALL spirit led, every single bit of it. I have read and studied the scripture in the Bible and have learned that what the Bible calls banners are indeed flags. These banners were waved and posted at different entrances throughout the Bible.

A few scriptures for reference:

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.” And Moses built an altar and called its name, The -Lord-Is-My-Banner. Exodus 17:14-15

“Lift up a banner on the high mountain. Raise your voice to them; wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger—Those who rejoice in My exaltation.” Isaiah 13: 2-3

The Lord their God will save them in that day, as the flock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, lifted like a banner over His land—For how great is its goodness and how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, and new wine the young women. Zechariah 9:16-17

The most important thing here, is let the Holy Spirit guide you in it all. Ask Him to tell you what color to use, and what song to play, if any. See, waving flags in worship releases things in the atmosphere and it offers up pure, intentional aroma to our Heavenly Father. So, it’s best for Him to choose the color because it’s what He wants to smell!! I always pray in the Spirit (tongues) before, during, and in between and It never fails, E V E R Y single time I lift my flags and my face to the heavens, I FEEL His presence. I want to dance for Him and be completely reckless in my worship to HIM, my audience of ONE. He reminds me that He is the only one!!
